What's New on andcards: Nov 2022
As we move into the later days of November, there's much to look forward to. The holidays are just around the corner, and with them come all sorts of merriment and cheer. But that's not all happening this month on andcards. We're introducing some new features that are sure to make your coworking space app even more awesome. So read on to find out what's new!
1. Chats
We have announced the feature in our October roundup, and here it goes. Brand new Chats are now available in your app, making messaging easier for all users.
Now you can contact anyone, including members, visitors, event attendees, and even external bookers, with a tap without leaving andcards. No nicknames or telephone numbers to guess and no switching between the apps.
Here are a few key benefits of Chats for your coworking community:
- The easiest way to contact members, non-members, visitors, event attendees, and your team.
- Increased loyalty to your brand. Since Chats reside in your app, users are brought back to it with push notifications every now and again.
- Simple networking opportunities. Community members don't need to guess how to contact other coworkers. They just quickly find another app user and send them a message.
- You own the correspondence data. All chatting history belongs to you and is protected by our encryption and hacking shield.
2. Simplified Design for Contact Options
Coworking is about communication, which means connecting with every community member must be easy. That's why we're introducing a simplified design for contact options throughout your app.
Here’s what changed:
- The new design of the "call," "email," and "web" buttons better adapts to the OS and streamlines the contact experience.
- You can now add a front desk or a sales phone number to the Information page. People tap a button and call you right away.
- Chat button is added to the user profile. You and other app users can send instant messages to the profile owner by simply tapping it.
3. Enhanced Mercado Pago Integration
We released a powerful integration with the Mercado Pago payment system not so long ago. Thanks to it, coworking spaces in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, México, Perú, and Uruguay can receive payments from customers directly on their apps.
This month our product engineers improved the functionality to make billing and payments collection even more streamlined for the integration users. They reworked the payments processing logic, which increased the percentage of successful payments to a maximum.
4. Snappy Mobile UI for Endless Lists
Long lists are something coworking space administrators deal with every day when they overview community, transactions, bookings, Shop orders, and more. If you preferred to scroll through endless data on your computer before, you would be amazed at how smooth the experience on mobile became. Don’t postpone urgent tasks till you get to the computer. Swipe your lists on the go and resolve everything on the fly.
5. Improved Multipicker Performance
In November, we made some significant improvements to the multipicker feature, which allows app users to select multiple people, places, and time zones from long drop-down menus. We have optimized the performance of the multipicker on both scroll and swipe so that users can quickly and easily select the desired options with minimal effort. We hope these improvements will make it even easier for your administrators and members to stay organized and productive on the go.
