Are you a fan of the Coworking Europe conference just like the andcards team? This is probably the brightest event uniting hundreds of coworking and flex space professionals from dozens of countries every year.
The first gathering took place in Brussels back in November 2010 when most people didn’t know the word ‘coworking,’ and some countries had not more than one location in operation. It was organized byJean-Yves Huwart, the founder of SocialWorkplaces.com, and a number of big coworking events such as Coworking Africa, Coworking India, and Social Workplace.
"What amazed us the most in 2010 was to have so many nationalities. We even had a few people who flew from the US to Belgium. The pioneers of coworking, Betahaus from Germany, Coworking Spain, Cowo from Italy, and some more, people from Turin, Latvia… They all made the trip up to Brussels. Some of the delegates of 2010 have attended all the Coworking Europe conferences. The last conference before the Covid crisis gathered more than 650 people." —Jean-Yves Huwart
Since that first time, Coworking Europe opened its doors to flex business enthusiasts every year urging them to come to the most gorgeous European cities such as Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, Lisbon, Milan, Brussels, Dublin, Warsaw, Vienna, and Amsterdam.
Knowledgeable speakers covered a wide range of topics related to the coworking industry, from the business side of things to the design and management of coworking spaces. Coworking Europe always was a great opportunity for networking and learning about the latest trends in the coworking world.
The popularity of the event grew bigger up until the Covid outbreak in 2020-21, which put the entire concept at a huge risk of oblivion. Jean-Yves and the entire Coworking Europe team accepted the challenge and carried out last year's event in a virtual format.
"We had to cancel the conference twice, as Vienna, where we planned to host it, was locked down, both in 2020 and 2021. We moved everything online. The content and the experience were ok, but everybody was very disappointed not to be able to meet physically. In 2022, the Coworking Europe conference is back in Amsterdam. It will take place on November 10 and 11." — Jean-Yves Huwart
All of us got used to online communication but don’t you miss the good old days of in-person meetings? We have a great chance to catch up for lost by the end of this year.
Coworking Europe 2022 is coming back in its full glory. This time it will be carried out on November 10-11 in Amsterdam.
These days will be packed with charismatic speeches, panel discussions, industry trends, data, figures, and insights.
Of course Coworking Europe 2022 couldn’t bypass the war in Ukraine as one of the topics that continue to make headlines for 9 months already.
As you know, a part of the andcards team is living in Ukraine. Being a refugee myself, I am going to join the dedicated Ukrainian Coworking Europe session as a keynote speaker and share my own experience of relocating from one of the most dangerous Southern regions to Western Ukraine.
I will also give an update on the Ukrainian coworking industry at the beginning of the war and at the present day. We will discuss the main challenges and trends in the market, make predictions for the future, and learn key lessons along the way.
If you, like most of the world, are concerned about the war in Ukraine, come to hear the true story of the Ukrainian people’s courage and get a special present from me. Together we can do so much!
Now to the most pleasant part.
Those who come to the Ukrainian session of the conference, which will take place on November 10, at 16.30 (Amsterdam time) will get a special present from me. A super helpful brand-building guide for coworking spaces.
If you still didn’t acquire your Coworking Europe ticket, here is a 20% discount promo code from andcards.
Use it at the checkout process to cut off your conference expenses a bit.
Are you coming? Then one more piece of advice. Come to Amsterdam a day earlier, on November 9, to join Amsterdam Coworking Tour. This day more than 15 spaces and coworking brands such as TSH, TWN, Tribes, and Mindspace, open their doors for a personal visit to the Coworking Europe delegates. Let’s seize the opportunity to experience their hospitality!
